Living in truth, like loyalty, is intrinsic rather than extrinsic.

I take living in truth seriously because of myself, not because of someone else.

My relationship with myself internally drives me to be honorable, loyal, protective, and to defend certain things, ideas, or people.

A lot of people look at that as an extrinsic thing, but it's not.

It's about your word to yourself, what you care about, and staying committed to the word you want to protect and be honorable to.

That gives you the personal respect that you were true to yourself.

At the end of the day, we all have to look in the mirror.

And we have to ask ourselves,

"Was I true to the things I believe, want to stand by, promote, and that I want to defend?"

If you can answer yes to that...

You can then be at peace with yourself.
