150 years after the Dragonfall, the cyberpunk city-state of Gate 10 remains one of the few bastions of humanity left on the now largely barren planet.

Six factions work together to maintain the delicate balance of power within the Gate: Skyfall, a massive industrial powerhouse; Hypnosoft, developers of both software and hardware; V-Medica, a pharmaceutical company dabbling in virology and biochemistry; the Seiryuu, the largest organized crime syndicate in Gate 10; Moonwell, a loosely organized group of freelance mercenaries and fixers; and the Radiant Eyes, the militarized police of Gate 10.

Whether augmented through the use of cybernetics or a carrier of the Genesis Mutation, every individual has the ability to carve a name for themselves within this vicious society, or become another cog in the machine all the same.
