Sirens Tale

Siren's Tale is set in a medieval fantasy land called Terocae.

It was an unexpected, astonishing, horrifying experience, for some. For others, as swift as a bolt of lightning. Not much is understood about how we changed on that day a thousand years ago. Not why some changed and others remained the same. Only that we passed through oddly similar points when we correlate our experiences.

It was as it should be. We all went about our daily life. Some toiled, some warred, some enjoyed a good play. Then, all of a sudden, everything sank under our feet. Then comes the dark shadows. A dreadful, storming sea of darkness that drowns all who found themselves engulfed. 

I remember before I fainted a purple light, in a direction, and I struggled towards it before awakening changed.
